i live in a very dreamy world. i spend more time daydreaming than i do not daydreaming, but i like it this way.

i love romantic and elegant and beautiful things. hence why i gravitate towards figure skating, ballet, poetry, etc a lot... maybe i'm quite vain but i don't mind because it means i look for beauty in everything ! i also really love things that are peaceful and calm

i also love writing stories. it's so helpful to process things and its also so much fun to create entire new worlds. i didn't really develop a strong sense of self growing up, and this is one creative outlet that has reallyyyyy helped me in my quest to find myself. often it feels like i'm meeting concealed parts of myself for the first time!

i've moved between countries and cities a lot, so there isn't really a specific place i feel rooted in. but i feel most connected to the village in russia that my family live in because it's the only location that has been a constant throughout my life. so much of my understanding of peace and beauty come from the rivers, forests and architecture from there. but right now i live somewhere in the north of england, for university!

i'm in my second year of an english literature degree. i have a love-hate relationship with this subject... i love love LOVE some areas and am bored by others ... i'm mainly interested in analysing the formal elements of poetry, and anything i can look at through a poststructural or psychoanalytic lens. i just love analysis, basically . i'm not sure what my future after uni looks like, but i hope i can create a life devoted to dance and writing, regardless of my career.
